There’s no booking, no pressure and no cost, just a chance to enjoy sport, meet new people and give something new a go.
No experience? No problem.
You don’t need to be the best player or know anyone before you arrive. Our friendly coaches make sure everyone feels welcome, whether it’s your first session or you’ve been coming for months.
Free every time
Every Turn Up & Play session is completely free to attend. Just wear something comfortable, bring a drink and come ready to get involved.
Something for everyone
Our timetable includes a range of sports and activities throughout the year, with sessions for different ages and interests. Depending on where you live, you might find football, girls-only sessions or multi-sports waiting for you.

Do you need to book for Turn Up & Play?
Places no longer need to be pre-booked!
Primary school age sessions – Simply bring your child to the venue a few minutes before the start of the session. There will only be a short form to fill in the first time your child takes part.
Sessions for year 7 and older – When young people arrive for the first time, our youth workers will collect basic details in order to keep them safe during their first visit. They will then be given a letter for their parents or guardians and a link to a consent form. The consent form will then need to be completed by a parent or guardian before they return for their second visit.
