Team Inspire takes on the Orwell Challenge for young people across Suffolk

30 June 2026

On Sunday 28 June 2026, Team Inspire swapped desks, meetings and emails for walking boots as they took on the Orwell Challenge, united by one goal: raising funds to help young people across Suffolk thrive.

Together, a team of Inspire staff, joined by friends supporters and an ambassador of the charity, walked a combined total of 104.8 miles around the beautiful Orwell Estuary.

It was a brilliant example of the passion our team brings to Inspire, not just during the working day, but in their own time too. Every step taken and every pound raised will help more young people across Suffolk access the opportunities, guidance and encouragement they need to fulfil their potential.

Team Inspire was made up of Rosie Bowen, Ben Sanders, Peter and Jackie Dawes, Sara Warburton, Andy Crump, Ginny Long, and Cara and Adam Miller, all coming together to take on the challenge in support of Inspire’s work.

A special congratulations goes to Ginny Long, who completed the full 26-mile route, an incredible achievement and a testament to her determination.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who sponsored the team, donated, cheered them on or supported them along the way. We’d also like to thank the organisers and volunteers behind the Orwell Challenge for hosting another fantastic community event that brings people together to support local charities.

Every donation will help Inspire continue providing trusted adults, safe spaces, wellbeing support and opportunities for young people across Suffolk, helping them build confidence, develop skills and create brighter futures.
