Oh what a night!
Last Friday 5th August saw the Twilight Road Races come to Ipswich town centre and we were the chosen charity. The were over 1,000 runners who showed up to try and beat the sunset.
We had such an enjoyable night! Our Inspire team were in full attendance and it was hard not to see an Inspire red logo in any direction you looked. We’d like to thank Ipswich Jaffa and Ipswich Building Society for choosing us to be the charity for this year and next year’s Twilight Races (please consider running for us!).
We’d also like to thank all of the people and local businesses involved in making the event such a success!

Entries for next year’s race are already open. We’re looking for eager volunteers to run for our education and sports charity in the runs next year. If you’re interested get in touch with us on sarahr@inspiresuffolk.org.uk!
All you have to do once you’re signed up for the races here, is set up a Just Giving page here then start your fundraising. We’ll be on hand to help you with fundraising ideas and support throughout your training.
Your help will allow us to continue and expand the important work we do in communities across Suffolk including our Team programme in 5 locations, our disability football programmes (Ability Counts and DSActive), Health Kicks which provides people accessing mental health services in Ipswich with regular sporting activities to improve self-confidence, social development and providing a sense of routine, and many many more programmes.
Be it £50 or £500 raised, we appreciate all of the help that our supporters provide to us, so get signed up and start raising money for Inspire!
