Try your hand(ball) at a new sport!

30 March 2017

One of our aims as a Charity is to get kids inspired and involved in new sports to boost confidence and motivate young people, which is the purpose of our  Free Turn Up and Play sport sessions. We will be launching free Handball sessions starting on 18th April in Ipswich.

Welcome to all 5-12 year olds, just turn up and play! Find us at our Ipswich HQ on Lindbergh Road every Tuesday from 6 until 7pm from Tuesday 18th April until Tuesday 23rd May 2017. The sessions will be an introduction to handball, focussing on a range of skills, techniques and games with our Inspire sports coaches, with a big emphasis on having fun!

Thank you to Suffolk Community Foundation, the High Sheriff of Suffolk, St James’s Place Foundation, Annie Tranmer Charitable Trust, and Ganzoni Charitable Trust for kindly funding these sessions helping to get local kids in to sport and keep them active!

Our ‘turn up and play’ sessions will continue throughout the year, with a different sport chosen every 6 weeks. Keep an eye on our website for updates.
