We’re bringing something a little different to Orwell Park School this September.
On Thursday 3 September, our first Cricket & Connections event will bring businesses from across Suffolk together for an afternoon of T20 cricket, networking, afternoon tea and a glass of prosecco or Pimm’s on the lawn.
And we’re delighted to have Ellisons and StrategiQ as our title sponsors, helping us make the whole event completely free to attend.
Getting behind young people in Suffolk
Corporate support makes a real difference to what we can do at Inspire, and it goes far beyond financial support.
When a business gets involved with Inspire, they become part of a wider network helping young people across Suffolk build confidence, discover new opportunities and take their next steps.
It could mean opening the doors to a workplace, offering work experience, sharing skills and knowledge or supporting one of our programmes. Sometimes, it’s about helping us create events like this one, where we can bring people together, make new connections and start conversations that could lead to even more opportunities for young people.
That’s why we’re so pleased to have Ellisons and StrategiQ getting behind Cricket & Connections as our title sponsors.
Their support, alongside Orwell Park School and Cafe Flex, means we can make the event free to attend, including complimentary afternoon tea and refreshments.
There might be a little friendly competition on the pitch, but off it, we’re all on the same team: creating more opportunities for young people in Suffolk.

Whether you fancy getting involved in the cricket or would rather enjoy the action from the lawn with afternoon tea and a Pimm’s, we’d love to have you there.
Registration opens at 3pm, with play beginning at 3.30pm and the event finishing at around 7pm.
Tickets for both networking and cricket are completely free thanks to Ellisons and StrategiQ, but places are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
Companies can request up to four networking tickets, while cricket places are available until our two teams are full. Anyone playing will need to bring their own cricket whites, bat and helmet.

To request your free tickets, email fundraising@inspirecharityuk.org, letting us know how many places you’d like and whether you’re joining us for networking or cricket.
We’ll then send over a registration form, with your tickets confirmed once it’s returned.
