This year we’re aiming for our biggest ever turnout at The Orwell Challenge and we’d love you to be part of it!
Whether you’re a keen walker or looking for a fundraising opportunity, every person taking part helps make a difference. Organised by the Ipswich East Rotary Club, The Orwell Challenge is a fantastic day out for the whole family with routes from 3 to 25 miles – enjoy the beautiful Suffolk countryside and come together to support us.
By joining the Inspire team you’ll be helping us raise vital funds, and most importantly awareness, that enables us to empower young people across Suffolk every day.

The Pound Gates Charity Quiz returns for another year of fun, food and friendly rivalry, with a refreshed format that’s lighter, livelier and guaranteed to raise a smile.
The quiz will look back at 2025 – the entertainment, sport, achievements, and standout moments that made it a year to remember. Expect laughs, surprises, great food and of course the legendary raffle, all in support of a great cause – Inspire.
Date: Thursday, 22 January 2026
Time: Arrive from 5.45pm for a prompt 6.15pm start. The fun wraps up by 9.30pm.
Venue: The Hangar, Milsoms Kesgrave Hall, Hall Road, Kesgrave IP5 2PU.
Teams: Up to 5 people.
Food and refreshments: A one course hot meal will be served. Drinks will be available to purchase at the bar throughout the evening.
Price: £120 per team – all for a fantastic cause!

Join us for the 2026
Ipswich Half Marathon.
The race will start and finish at Portman Road Stadium – home to Ipswich Town FC.
You will see runners heading down Duke Street, through Ipswich Waterfront and then along Cliff Lane. Continuing around the River Orwell, you will head to Wherstead Road, back along Grafton Way before reaching the big finish at the stadium.
Over 7,000 young people need the support of Inspire each year. We provide them with the tools and guidance to move away from an uncertain future, and empower them to discover their purpose, and fulfil their potential.
We believe every aspect of wellbeing, be it mental, physical, emotional, or social, is vital to make sure young people have the chance to take on life with confidence.
By signing up for this challenge, you’ll help us fund this vital support!
Entry Fee: Inspire will cover this cost on your behalf once registered with us.
Fundraise: We ask that you raise a minimum of £200 in sponsorship to support Inspire.

Join us for a Ryder Cup-inspired golf event at the picturesque Seckford Golf Club, on Monday, 8th June 2026. With 27 holes of golf, delicious food, and fantastic prizes up for grabs, it’s a day you don’t want to miss.
We’ll be kicking off the morning with refreshments in the clubhouse, followed by a shotgun start on the first 9 holes. Once you’ve had a chance to get into the swing of things, we’ll break for a tasty lunch before heading out for another 18 holes.
Along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities to win fantastic prizes!
The day will conclude with a BBQ dinner and a prize-giving ceremony, where prizes will be presented to the winners.
