The life changing work we do with our local young people is more vital than ever. With many feeling isolated during lockdown, we have introduced new services, such as our Wellbeing Counselling, to cope with growing demand.
To help us reach even more young people, our staff and supporters are ‘Going the Extra Mile’ for Inspire with their personal takes on our fundraising challenge to raise £10,000 for the charity. Whether it’s running, walking or taking a hobby to new heights, people across the county (and in some cases, across the world!), are raising money and setting new personal bests.
Why the Extra Mile?
During our programmes, we often ask young people to step outside their comfort zones, take a leap of faith and go the extra mile, so we thought it was only right to lead by example!
Maybe you’ve had more time for fitness, or just need an excuse to get off the sofa? As part of this challenge you design your own fundraising activity which takes something you love just that little bit further. If you can run 5 miles, why not 6? Whether you interpret it literally or figuratively, the choice is yours.
How Do I Start Fundraising?
To get started, simply email saraw@inspiresuffolk.org.uk with your fundraising ideas and Sara will provide you with an information pack with everything you need.
You can use Just Giving or go it the old-fashioned way with sponsorship forms, whatever works best for you.
When can I start?
You can start collecting donations right away but members of the Inspire team will be completing their challenges between 26th-28th June, so we cheer each other on in a weekend of fundraising brilliance!
