Inspire’s Terry Baxter has called on the Government to be clear about its support for the charity sector during the current Corona Virus pandemic.
The charity CEO has written to Ipswich MP Tom Hunt to ask that the charity sector is not forgotten when the Government looks at sectors in need of an injection of funds.
“I am grateful for the quick response from Tom to assure me that he will be taking up the cause of the charity sector with the Charities Minister this week. We are only at the beginning of what will be an extremely challenging time for organisations such as ours and there is no doubt that our sector will need a significant financial helping hand to ensure that we are able to respond to the tasks to come.”
