There were smiles all around this weekend as our staff and supporters took on the Orwell Challenge to complete a 12-mile walk in aid of Inspire. Organised by the Ipswich East Rotary Club, the Orwell Challenge is one of the biggest multi-charity fundraising events in Suffolk which consists of hundreds of people walking or running long distances to raise money for their cause.
This was the 44th edition of the event, which was unfortunately cancelled last year due to covid but has made a successful return as around 900 people showed up to participate.
“It was great to be involved in the team as I am a new member of staff to inspire. Really enjoyed the walk and support from others on the way round.” – Steve Prentice, Team Leader
For our cause, we are aiming to reach a target of £2,500 so that we can continue the work that we do to change the lives of young people and help them step towards a positive future.
We want to thank the organisers and everyone who took part. We are halfway through our £2,500 goal and you can help us achieve it by donating to one of our team members at www.justgiving.com/team/TeamInspire2021. Any amount you can afford will help. Thank you.
