This week we marked a milestone year as we kicked off our 10th anniversary celebrations with a Birthday Breakfast. The event brought together new and longstanding supporters who have contributed to our organisation’s journey over the past decade.
Not only did the occasion reflect on the initiatives that have helped support so many young people over the years, but it also looked toward the importance of continuing to support the next generation, especially in a post-pandemic world. Attendees were treated to an inspiring morning filled with personal stories from both the young people whose lives have been positively impacted and the supporters who have continued to make it possible.
The highlight was a panel discussion with young individuals who have benefited directly from our package of youth support. They shared their remarkable journeys into fields such as customer service, engineering, and youth work, and emphasised how Inspire has played a vital role in opening doors to new opportunities, helping them raise their aspirations and realise their potential.
Terry Baxter, CEO of Inspire, said, “I’m often amazed at the resilience and positive progression that I witness from the young people Inspire work with. However, the former students who spoke at our breakfast had me beaming with pride.
Rosie, Eugenie, Cameron, and Maddie were incredible, inspiring, humbling – well done to them all. What a great morning taking a reflective look back at Inspire’s journey so far and how much the young people we have worked with during that time have achieved. Here’s to the next 10!”
Inspire continues to champion the importance of supporting youth development and wellbeing by providing the mental health services, opportunities for growth, and guidance that yougn people need. Over the past 10 years, we have helped more than 6,000 individuals realise their potential and reach new highs in their personal and professional lives.
As the Birthday Breakfast came to a close, we emphasised how important it remains that we continue our commitment to supporting young people now and into the future, and how together we can do even more.
